MySuru: Mysuru City Traffic Police held Techie based in Chennai and confiscated BMW on suspicion of negligent and dangerous driving.
The driver allegedly knocked down two pedestrians, injuring three autorickshaw passengers and two-wheeled riders there on Thursday.
Ranjith, a manager with IT companies in Chennai, accelerated and tried to follow another vehicle on Jalan Sayyajirao who was busy, police said.
Ranjith headed to Mangaluru and stopped at Mysuru.
He allegedly drove from the Visvesvaraya circle.
He turned right to avoid hitting the SUV and hit the auto.two woman who was beside the car was thrown into the air, said people passing.
The police investigated the details of Techie but claimed that he was not drunk.
What was injured was an anthony automatic driver, Shankar and Lakshmamma passengers, pedestrians Anitha and Hemalata, and Basavaraj who were in two-wheeled vehicles.
Everything has been hospitalized.
