Mysuru: The forum demanded work for the wife of a dead Civic worker

Mysuru: Karnataka Progressive Organization Leader R Laxman on Wednesday accused Mysuru City Corporation of Ritigence for failing to provide permanent work to die PourakaSa Srinivas.
He said the Civic body had not released compensation to the family even a year after his death.
Laxman said Srinivas had worked for more than 11 years based on a contract and died of a heart attack while on duty.
Srinivas has three small daughters.
When Pushpa Pourakary’s wife who died had completed pre-university education, she was promised work.
He demanded that the government provide a permanent job suitable for Puspha and release the compensation of Rs 10 Lakh to the family.
He said he was with women’s organizations would protest to ensure work for PUSHPA.
