MySuru: A woman, who allegedly killed her husband by mutilating her personal part after owing nine months ago, had been arrested with her lover.
Uma was arrested immediately after Postmortem’s report revealed the cause of her husband’s death H T Venkataraju, 50, employees of the group D at Warehouse Corporation.
According to the report, he died of an injury to the scrotum suffered because of strength.
Uma was detained and questioned at the crime conducted on October 9, 2020.
SP Chethan R on Monday told the media that the arrest of Uma helped them solve the mysterious death of Venkataraju.
Uma is 20 years to Venkataraju, and the couple has two children – 8 year old girls and six-year-old boy – from their 10-year marriage.
Uma has been friends with Avinash, a neighbor near the house of his parents in the Mandya district, four years ago.
Since then, Uma hasn’t returned to her husband’s house, police said.
On October 9, Uma called Venkataraju to her grandmother’s house in Bannur and imagined it by serving her coffee.
When Venkataraju slept well, Uma, in the direction of Avinash, killed the former by squeezing his testicles.
He also froze him using a pillow.
Uma then cooked a story that collapsed Venkataraju after complaining of headaches, police said.
Following complaints from the victim’s brother the next day, the police treated him as a case of unnatural death and did postmortem.
Visceral samples are sent for testing and reports given recently.
