Chennai: Ashwini is twenty-one-year-old, a woman NarikuraVA, and a member of his community who live in the village of Pooncheri near the famous seafront temple in Mamallapuram will celebrate Diwali with the chairman of Minister M K Stalin.
Ashwini shot to the center of attention when he aired his complaint and the alleged discrimination was recorded and widely circulated.
It caught, the attention of HR & MIN minister of CE Sekar Babu, who sat with him for Annadhanam at a temple in Mamallapuram on Friday.
The NarikuraVA family will receive a home path, a ration card, community certificate, a membership card of the welfare council, and financial assistance as a gift Diwali Hamper from CM.
“We are all happy to see cm.
We stunned when we learned about Diwali gifts from Stalin Aiya.
We struggled for basic facilities and ration cards for years.
Now, Aiya (cm) will come here to give it to us.,” Said Sister of Ashwini Kressika.
The government machine swung action and installed five water tanks to provide tap water to 68 families in the village.
The “five (road) lights have been installed and there is no darkness of Amy more.
There is no more fear of staying here,” Keerthika said.
“Minister (Sekar Babu) fulfilled the promise he made to my sister in four days,” he said.
Ashwini Sekar’s father said he was proud of his daughter for carrying light to the community.
“We have no words to thank the minister and cm,” he said and added that he never thought he would see his village with street lights and other basic facilities for the rest of his life.
