Vadodara: Around 30 Personal Luxury Bus Passengers have a narrow escape at Wee Hours on Saturday when a Tanker truck crashes on the National Highway 48 near Waghodiya Crossroads.
According to firefighting officials, the driver of the tanker, who was on his way to Pipavav in Saurashtra, crashed into a bus from behind around 1am on Saturday.
That’s the impact of the collision that the tanker cabin was completely destroyed and the driver Devaram was trapped in it.
The fire department from the Panigati of the fire station and the emergency response center rushed to the accident site and opened the cabin to issue Devaram.
Devaram was taken to the SSG hospital with Chetan, one of the bus passengers who suffered minor injuries.
The bus is on its way to Porbandar while the tanker driver starts from Ankleshwar after dismantling chemicals.
