Ranchi: Former BJP MP from the president of the Koderma Party and the former state, Ravindra Rai, has a narrow escape on Sunday when the protesting part of the ongoing line of language attacks his vehicle near the Telmachcho Bridge in Bokaro around noon.
Human chain protests have formed on Sundays as part of their protest throughout the country against the exception of BHOJPURI and MAGAHI from the regional language list of new recruitment policies made by the state.
Rai said he had submitted FIR at the Chas Mufassil police station in Bokaro against unknown people because he attacked him and his bodyguard.
He said that his vehicle was damaged but he was lucky to have fled.
“I am not aware of protests here and go to Dhanbad for meetings.
The protesters stopped my car and attacked suddenly,” he accused, accusing the state government of legal disorders and order.
At night, BJP President Deepak Prakash and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi also slammed the government for poor law and order.
