Nashik: This city has reported a slight increase in active Covid patients over the past three weeks.
According to reports provided by Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC), the number of active patients increased from 147 on December 5 to 252 on December 24.

Meanwhile, Commissioner NMC Kailas Jadhav has directed officials to intensify encouragement towards those who do not wear masks at weddings, functions, markets and public places.
Jadhav has also directed division officers from all six divisions to pay random visits at the wedding function to ensure that the appropriate behavior of Covid is being followed.
If people are found without a mask, the owner of the wedding & courtyard room must be slapped with a fine of Rs 25,000.
In addition, the bride’s family will also be fined Rs 25,000.
NMC officials said they took all steps and oversees international travelers who came to Nashik City for the past month.
So far, 1,275 international travelers have come to Nashik City according to the list received from the state government.
NMC has collected USAs 400 of them.
Someone has been detected by Omicron variants, while 399 travelers have been tested negatively.
