Nashik: City Police will spread additional bandobast in the city market area from Tuesday given the increasing number of people who step out to shop at Diwali’s account.
With the remaining more than a week for the festival, footsteps on the market have begun to swell over the past few days.
ACP (traffic) Sitaram Gaikwad said the rush of people on the market leads to Traffic Snarls because many enjoy haphazard parking, driving the wrong side, among others.
“Taking this from Bandobast Tuesday will increase in the market such as Shalimar, CBS, Main Road, MG Road, Panchavati, Nashik Road, College Road,” said Gaikwad.
“Traffic personnel will be used at all to see that the movement of traffic is free and without obstacles,” he added.
Shalimar, CBS and MG Road witnessed solid traffic for most days regularly.
However, in front of the festival like Diwali, rushing the vehicle is almost uncontrolled.
The same thing was observed in Raviwar Karanja, College Road, Gangapur Road and Untawadi on the road where the mall was located.
Gaikwad said that in addition to using the towing crane to take vehicles parked illegally, the traffic police will also click on photographs of vehicles parked illegally by special devices and send e-challoh to the driver in question.
