Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) employees, that are running a door-to-door poll, state girls are being barred from accepting Covid-19 evaluations or are loath to do this because it might upset chores in the home.
Manjula, an ASHA employee from Attalli, Mysuru district, supported the trend, stating it is particularly true of rural inhabitants.
“Many girls are hesitant to see hospitals because of domestic duties,” she explained.
