Navi Mumbai: Police Inspector Assistant Subhash Pujari, attached to the Safety Patrol of the Highway from the Palaspe Traffic Navi Mumbai unit, has won a bronze medal in the 12th bodybuilding world and the 2021 physical sports championship held from October 1-7 in Uzbekistan.
The Pujari fire represents India in the category of 80 kg.
The international championship has witnessed 360 participants from 30 countries, including 70 participants from India in different weights categories.
Pujari has received an award for the police Navi Mumbai by adding other feathers to the lid in bodybuilding competition.
Since, in March he has won the title ‘Mr.
Maharashtra Shree’ with a gold medal in the state-level bodybuilding championship held in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, and other gold medals by winning the title ‘Mr.
Bharat Shree’ at the National Level Bodybuilding Championship held in Ludhiana, Punjab.
Thus, qualifications for international bodybuilding championships in Uzbekistan, and represent India in the 80-kg category.
The Pujari API said, “After winning the nation’s level championship, I have qualified for the Asian level bodybuilding championship to be held in Maldives in September, but it was postponed.
When I was in their 20s and pursuing an art graduate in Kolhapur, I used to participate in the competition Bodybuilding levels, state and national.
Even though I did not participate in bodybuilding competitions over the past 20 years, I did not give up physical training in gymnasium even after joining the police as a police officer in 2003.
“Pujari further added that while fulfilling the police duty, It dedicates at least 6 hours every day to exercise in gymnasium and has followed a strict diet regime for a healthy body.
“With encouragement by colleagues and family members, I participated in the bodybuilding championship and feel proud to have won a bronze medal at the international level, and will work harder for winning gold in the international level championship in the future,” he said.
