Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Sameer Wankhede have a written statement before the Obsidation of Special Narcotics and Psychotropic Court (NDPS) on Monday explaining their attitude on charges made by the Personal Guards of the Witness in drug cases involving Aryan Khan.
Zonal Director NCB Sameer Wankhede denied the allegations.
Previously, after the Prabhakar screen, Personal Guards Witness K P Gosavi, came out with a series of allegations including a discussion of NCB officials, Wankhede, wrote to the Commissioner of Police Mumbai who stated that he could be framed in a case.
“It has come to my notification that some legal precipitate actions to frame me are mistakenly planned by unknown people in connection with suspected citizenship issues,” said Wankhede, adding Deputy NCB DG Mutha Jain has referred to the problem to the Director General of NCB for the necessary actions.
“Let the central institution investigate this accusation and the truth will come out,” said an NCB official.
Wankhede’s letter said the threat of prison and dismissal had been issued to it in public media by very respectable general functional.
The screen in the written statement was quoted by the meeting between Shah’s manager Rukh Khan Pooja Dadlani, Gosavi, and one Sam D’Souza in October 3 in the Lower Parel.
Affidavit also mentions Rs 8 Crore payments to be made to Wankhede.
Sail said he was afraid that NCB officials and other people involved “can kill or kidnap me like Gosavi”.
Gosavi has not been able to be tracked since NCP Minister Nawab Malik triggered controversy including him as a witness.
