Vadodara: The National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India (NCDFI), the apex firm to its combined dairy industry, has recently filed a writ petition in the Delhi High Court. Against Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and private businesses which are”in the business of purchasing fermented drinks like soy beverages and almond beverages illegally labelling them “. NCDFI has all the milk cooperative societies such as Amul because its associates. The request is against illegal usage of the expression”milk” and milk conditions for esophageal foods/beverages, the usage of that is contrary to statutory terms of Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 along with the regulations that are allied. The request came before Delhi High Court on Monday.
