New Delhi: Resident doctors from the three hospitals managed in Delhi, RAM Manohar Lohia, Safdarjung and Hily Hactinge, continued their strike on Friday on the delay of Neet-PG 2021 counseling.
They boycotted all services, including emergencies.
The doctors who lived said they continued the strike because the government had made “false promises” to them.
They showed “acute deficiencies” of population doctors across the country because the Council of Batch Neet PG 2021 was postponed by eight months.
On December 9, the population doctors said they suspended agitation, referred to by the Federation of Resident Doctors Association (Forda), for a week after the Ministry of Health’s guarantee to accelerate the trial and then track the counseling process.
However, on Wednesday, Forda wrote to the Minister of Health Union Mansukh Mandaviya told him that it continued the strike.
