MICHIGAN: US automotive brand Jeep teased the all-new 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Xtreme Recon package on Friday.
The car is all set to debut in the global markets in 2021 Chicago Auto Show Camp Jeep on July 14, on the occasion of the brand’s 80th anniversary.
The bookings have commenced for both Wrangler Rubicon 4-door and Wrangler Rubicon 392 models.
The production is scheduled to start in August.
The package is powered by 35-inch tires The BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain rubber is wrapped around 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, a 4.56:1 axle ratio and 1.5-inch suspension lift with uniquely tuned shocks.
The package also includes 47.4 degree approach angle, 26.7 degree breakover angle, 40.4 degree departure angle, 12.9 inches of ground clearance, and the ability to ford up to 33.6 inches of water.
Wrangler Rubicon is embedded with a new 4.88:1 axle ratio.
When paired with the six-speed manual transmission, this optional axle ratio delivers a100:1 crawl ratio for increased wheel torque and control when navigating off-road obstacles.
The 4.88:1 axle ratio will be available for ordering later in 2021.
