New Zealand saw a small increase in the case of Covid-19 daily during the weekend

New Zealand reported 24 Coronavirus cases obtained locally new on Sundays, up from 20 on Saturday, showing an increase after a few days a lower number, because the largest city in the country Auckland waited if limiting locking would subside.
All new cases have been reported in Greater Auckland, a city of around 1.7 million people who have been in full level 4 locking since mid-August.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will announce on Monday whether the warning rate for Auckland and other countries will be changed.
Until the weekend, New Zealand was on track to remove the latest outbreak, which began in mid-August and has infected 1,050 people with a very contagious Delta variant of Coronavirus.
“Delta tail is long and difficult,” Ardern said to the briefing on Sunday.
Public Health Director Caroline Mcelnay said that health officials “were optimistic carefully” that most of the latest outbreaks were under control.
New Zealand is mostly free of viruses for months to the latest outbreaks.
It has more than 3,700 infections confirmed since the start of Pandemi and 27 deaths.
