Jaipur: National Green Tribunal (NGT), Bhopal, has banned all commercial activities, including restaurants, hotels and bars, in the Nahargarh Fort which is located in Nahargarh Wildlife Sanctuary (NWS) from the city on Monday, the court is called illegal business activities and ordered They to stop operations because they are non-forestry activities.

Ghanzansar Forest Assistant Forest Conservator Ali Zaidi said, “Six-member NGT prohibits all commercial activities at the Forest Reserve.

In the pill, which was listed on January 18 this year, the applicant accused that commercial activities occur in forest areas, including serving liquor and construction of parking lots, in the fort.

NGT acknowledged the increase in the movement of tourism activities and nights in the area.
“In 1961, the Nahargarh Forest was declared a reserve area, based on which the Department of Forest was given the right to control it,” said Tiwari.
In August, NGT has appointed a high-level committee to investigate this problem.
The Committee includes Jaipur District collectors, Wildlife Warden heads from the Ministry of Forestry, and members of the Rajasthan pollution control body (RPCB).
The committee is directed at verifying claims carried out in the petition and presenting the report.
