New Delhi: Finance Minister Union Nirmala Sitharaman will lead the 46th meeting of the GST council in New Delhi at this time.
The Union of State Minister at the Ministry of Finance, Pankaj Chaudhary and Dr.
Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad will also attend the meeting.
“FM SMT @NSITHARAMAN will lead the 46th meeting of the GST Council in New Delhi, tomorrow will be attended by MOS For Finance @mppchaudharyand @Drbhagwatkarad, in addition to the Minister of Finance and UTS and senior officers,” Tweeted the Ministry of Finance on Thursday.
This meeting was important ahead of the Union budget presented on the first day of February by the Minister of Finance in Parliament.
This will be the fourth budget of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-LED Government NDA in the second term.
On Thursday, Nirmala Sitharaman led the pre-budget consultation with the State Minister of Finance and the Union (legislative) area for the Union 2022-23 budget in Delhi.
The meeting was attended by the State Union Minister for Finance, Minister of Prourse, Deputy Minister of Chief, Minister of Finance, Minister and senior officers from the state and the United States (with legislature) and the Government Government, the Ministry of Finance said in the official press releasing.
The Union Finance Secretary welcomed all participants to deliberation and inform the importance of this special consultation meeting.
