Mangaluru: In another incident of the cruelty of animals reported in the city, a healthy man community was reported to be shot dead with alleged air weapons in a very close range, said Suma Nayak, Trustee Trust, animal care.
He told Tii, the incident took place on Thursday between 3pm and 6pm at the first ring road, Jalan Ring 4 (Shivbagh New Road).
“Obviously, these psychopaths do not appreciate life and are not afraid of being caught and that is why he has the courage to shoot the fall of animals in the residential area,” he said.
A post-mortem has been done and the air gun pellet is restored during post mortem.
Complaints have been registered at the Mangaluru East Police Station, he added.
