They included two BSP MLAs that were expelled – Lalji Verma and Ram Achal Rajbhar – In addition to BSP MLAS Aslam Raini rebels, Sushma Patel, Mujtaba Siddiqui and Hargovind Bhargav.
Four MLA from the BJP ally enemy requested by Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj party chose Verma, head of the party Om Prakash Rajbhar told toi.
In a strategic step, BSP stole the walkout and abstained from voting, staying away from SP and BJP ahead of the upper assembly selection.
Apart from unilateral victory, the BJP source said the party would find out the Chosen MLA for SP.
Sitapur BJP realized Mla Rakesh Rathore had changed the rebels and met with SP Head Akhilesh Yadav in September.
Previously on that day, opposition leader and SP MLA RAM Govind Chaudhary said the powerful party had hit ‘Black Chapter’ in the history of the Parliamentary tradition by deploying candidates for the position of vice speaker.
Traditionally, the ruling party received opposition candidates for post and there was never a need to vote, he said while demanding the delay in voting.
However, the request was rejected by the speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit who said the selection process had begun by submitting a nomination on Sunday.
Minister of Parliament Minister Suresh Khanna slammed the opposition to create a commotion about this issue because there were no representatives of the speaker in assembly since 2007 when BJP Rajesh Agarwal held a position.
“They (opposition) do not install candidates for the past four and a half years and now, when we follow tradition and ourselves support SP MLA as candidates, opposition creates an unnecessary problem,” Khanna said.
Moving BJP to Field Nitin as a representative of the speaker is also considered an attempt to strengthen his relationship with the trader community which has traditionally chosen the Safron Party.
SP, on the other hand, Fiaded Verma, a Kurmi, in a clear message to the OBC community ahead of the assembly poll in the next few months.
Significantly, Apna Dal (s) also demands that the OBC or Dalit candidate will be lowered.
