Haveri: The Chairman of the Minister of Bukavaraj Bommai said, “We introduce a scheme outside Bengaluru, to shift several industries to the North Carnataka area (NK), which will help create jobs for local youth.” He spoke after placing a stone foundation for the ethanol unit, at the location of the Vinp sugar factory under construction in the village of Jakkankakatte in Shiggavi Taluk from the Haveri District on Sunday.
He noted that several industries were established in Bengaluru such as clothing and textiles, but they planned to shift the industry like that to the NK region.
“Our dream will be realized soon,” he added.
He said the Government government had formulated ethanol policy, remembering the overall perspective of environmental protection, economic activities, and the welfare of farmers.
“Karnataka is on its way to get maximum benefits from it.
The ethanol unit has been arranged in several sugar factories.
A provision has been made for the production of ethanol from corn and rice.
Farmers can get a good price for their products, when processed and added value.
