NMC for plant gifts to residents, a 2% discount if they survive

Nagpur: To increase the green cover and preserve the environment in the city, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has proposed to reward two meters tall plant for every citizen.
If the plant is to survive, the residents will get a 2% property tax rebate.
Civic body also plans to conduct a tree census using new technologies.
