Nagpur: The Ministry of Education Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has proposed to increase the monthly lease of a five-fold school with a retrospective effect on December 1, 2018.
The committee will still make decisions about proposals on December 22.
This is the first meeting called by the Chairman of the Committee standing Prakash Bhoard after the board selection.
According to the proposal submitted by the Ministry of Education, NMC runs the Urdu Nagar Pension School in a building owned by Ahbab Cooperative Housing Society, Jafar Nagar.
According to the information available from the department, the existing rental is Rs 10,885.
Following demand from the community for lease increases, the Ministry of Education requests a figure from the city planning department which suggests Rs 87,344 per month.
The Ministry of Education bid with the public and completes Rs 50,000 per month effect.
A large number of NMC school buildings stretched abandoned.
Some have been allocated for various works while others for some trust and social organizations.
Civic’s body continues to run Urdu school in a place hired asking questions.
NMC has issued a public notification to declare the area within a 100 meter radius of Gautam Primary School in Sujata Nagar Zone as a silence zone.
The Civic body has sought advice and objections within 30 days.
The committee that stands will also make a decision about the proposal to appoint PrekasFurn Infra Private Ltd to complete the construction of Metro Mall.
The company has offered to pay RS 55.58 Crore to the NMC project.
METRO MALL is the first NMC project in London / Orange City Street.
This project is planned to be close to the Jaiprakash Nagar Metro Station.
NMC has built an underground parking level with interesting Mahametro.
The company will complete the project, produce from it and pay premiums etc.
