Puducherry: The Union Puducherry region did not report Covid-19 death for the second day in a row on Thursday.
The number of active Covid-19 cases remains below 500 mark.
The region reported 43 fresh cases even when 50 patients recovered in the last 24 hours ended at 10 am on Thursday lowering active cases to 454.
From them, 354 was under isolation and home treatment.
Puducherry head office reported maximum new cases with 25 followed by Karaikan (11) and MAHE (7).
Yanam did not report new cases for the third day in a row.
Puducherry head office has a maximum active case with 295 followed by Karaikan (97), Mahe (50) and Yanam (12).
The health care authority has so far tested 18.84 lakh swab samples where 15.91 lakh samples are returned negatively.
They have so far been managed by 10.89 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccine to beneficiaries.
They have given one dose to 7.15 people and two doses up to 3.73 lakh people so far.
