Noida: Even though Gautam Budh Nagar recorded two cases of his first dengue just three days ago, this district added 11 more cases in just two days.
The health department now also monitors each case of allegedly typhus and leptospirosis.
The ICMR report previously confirmed that the case of ‘mystery fever’ which caused more than 100 deaths in Mathura, Firozabad and Mainpuri was the case of dengue fever, typhus and leptospirosis scrubs.
Officials said that while all preventive measures were being taken, Drive Fogging had also increased in the district.
“We held a meeting with all departments and apart from the authorities, Nagar Panchayat and other departments have also been told to ensure regular cleanliness and sanitation.
Anti-larvae spraying and the opening of the bushes around the inhabited area is also done,” said Suhas Ly, District judge.
Officials said that compared to other districts in the state, cases of dengue fever remained low in GB Nagar so far because of better sanitation and fewer water problems.
“There is almost no area in Noida where waterlogging is the main problem.
So, rainwater continues to drain.
Ordinary fogging drives also occur.
All teams involved for sanitis as long as Covid has now been diverted to foggy,” said Rajesh Sharma, Malaria District Officer.
He added that even during supervision of fever it was seen that the general cleanliness in the district had increased after a covid surge.
This is probably one of the fewer reasons in this district.
Meanwhile, three typhus patients from the district were all treated and dismissed.
There are no cases suspected of being discovered during supervision too.
Malaria cases until the end of August 23 and new cases will be added at the end of September.
With rainfall predicted for the rest of the week, officials said that people had to be very careful so that clean water was not collected near houses like pots, coolers, bird eating trays on the balcony, thermocol tires were thrown away.
