Noida: The gang suspected of deceiving banks and private lenders nearly Rs 1 Crore for the past year by forging a document to get a personal loan has been captured by Noida police, with the arrest of two men.
The defendant has been identified as Roshan Kumar and Virendra Kumar, both Delhi.
Both were arrested from sector 1 on Monday night, said Police Noida on Tuesday.

The police took action after they received complaints from Bajaj Finserv about someone who obtained a personal loan Rs 15 Lakh in June this year “using a fake document”.
“Following complaints, several teams were formed and modus operandi was studied.
It was found that some private banks and lenders were also cheated in the same way in recent months,” said Deputy Commissioner (Noida) Ranvijay Singh.
“The defendant has changed the location to avoid arrests.
However, five other gang members, including the mastermind, fled,” he added.
During interrogation, the arrests told the police that they would produce false documents such as Pan and Aadhaar cards to get loans from banks and private financial companies.
In the past year, they are suspected of taking loans from at least eight banks and private lenders on false documents.
“It was also revealed that the gang had registered fake companies with the Corporate Affairs Ministry and planned to take loans worth several crores, showing falsely returns worth Rs 1 Crore,” added additional deputy commissioners (Noida) added.
The police claim to have confiscated five laptops, one color printer, fake stamps from various companies, 40 fake aadhar cards, 26 fake pan cards, 16 fake selector ID cards, 22 checkbooks, eight cellphones, three postal machines, and two pens from the ownership of the defendant .
