Noida: A 55-year-old man on Monday was arrested for allegedly raping and killing a three-year granddaughter of a woman she claimed in a relationship.
The police said he considered the child “obstacles for their marriage”.
The defendant, Hemant Singh, came from the Bulandshahr district.
After he was arrested from the 88 sector, he was produced in court and sent to the trial detention.
The girl’s grandmother was also detained because she was questioned.

He was picked up to be questioned and revealed that he had a relationship with his grandmother and wanted to marry her.
However, the woman told Singh that she needed to take care of the child, “DCP said.
The girl used to live with her grandmother because her father was in prison in connection with the murder case for the past two years while his mother lived in Budaun.” The woman promised Singh, he Will marry him as soon as the father’s father was released from prison.
