Chandigarh: Not one of the 89 paid parking lots in this city is equipped with smart parking features, according to the Corporation Municipal (MC) report that has been submitted to senior officers.

He has made some spicy observations in the smart parking lot called, showing nothing smart about them.
Members AAP held a protest outside of the BPRIC-LED Civic Bodyin General House meeting on Tuesday, Commissioner MC Anindita Mitra said the report, said it was prepared and he would meet with a paid parking contractor on Wednesday.
The MC report said even though hardware equipment was installed in the parking lot, the problem in the software had prevented them functional.
Network problems have led several employees from contractors to work from Delhi, one of the reasons for delay in making a paid parking space complete with smart features, the report said.
“Because of technical problems and software, the display board cannot provide real-time vehicle data parked in Lot.
In addition, several paid parking applications and parking cards have not been launched in accordance with the MC agreement with the contractor,” said the source in the MC.
“Mostly, this problem is technical and when it is resolved, the smart feature will exist.
CCTV cameras are there.
E-Ticketing is being carried out.
However, the contractor needs to resolve technical problems and software,” added the source.
The MC engineering department inspection team found anomalies at the point of out of paid parking lots and lost employees, which lead to haphazard parking in a busy and busy commercial place.
“There is no check at the point of out in most paid parking places.
Contractors have been asked to use their people in many,” an official said.
The MC engineering department has formed several teams to check the 89-paid parking lot in the city.
