Now, Ed caught a clerk in China ‘espionage’ case

New Delhi: Delhi-based freelance journalist Sharma has been arrested by the Directorate of Enforcement in the alleged espionage case, with the agency accused him of supplying “classified and sensitive documents” to officers of the Chinese intelligence agency.
Special Court in Delhi on Saturday returned Sharma in seven days of detention Ed.
Police Delhi has captured Sharma last year and submitted a Chargesheet in this case under official ACT and IPC secretors.
He was given a guarantee by the Delhi High Court in December 2020.
Sharma was allegedly accepting payments from Chinese officials through Hawala transactions and in Benam’s account directed through the Shell company.
