After a series of cases where poor villagers have received crores rupees in their bank account, bets every day knowing that he has Rs 9.99 Crore at Union Bank of India, Supaul Branch.
Interestingly, the daily bet named Vipin Chauhan claimed that he had never opened an account at any bank.
Chauhan, native residents of the residual locality in Supaul went to Outlet Point Service (CSP) from Union Bank of India to open work cards for Mgnrega on Thursday.
When the CSP outlet official checked Vipin Chauhan’s financial status using his Aadhar card number, he found that the account was already in his name.
Adding Chauhan’s shock is the fact that the savings account, which is top of his name, has a 9.99 crore Rs deposit.
“I have approached the branch of the bank concerned, officials have examined the details of the account,” Chauhan said.
