Gorakhpur: The electric train starts running from Gorakhpur to Indo-Nepal’s border, the Nautana train station from Thursday, said CPRO PANKAJ Kumar Singh.
“Preparation was carried out after the inspection and approval of the train safety commissioner on Saturday, and on Thursday the first electric train 05105 Chapra-Nautanwa interclasses departed from the Gorakhpur train station for the Nautanwa train station at 10:30 a.m.
This train would run every day.
Weekly Train Express Durg-Nautanwa Express 082201 Via Bhatni, Varanasi and Prayagraj Depart for Nautans on Thursday at 8pm.
Other weekly trains 08205 Durg-Nautanwa Express Via Mankapur and Ayodhaya will depart from Gorakhpur on Friday.

With electrification tracks, time and money will be saved as before the electric engine used to turn into a diesel engine whose price spends time and money.
Train efficiency will increase and electrify line 42 km between Gorakhpur and Anand Nagar station have been completed, “said CPRO.
Electrification will make goods transport to Nepal easily with the start of the first electric train.
In March next year, electrification work on the Anandnagar-Badni-Gonda route is also expected to be completed.
The Rail Ministry has set the objectives of the train track in 2023.
