Vadodara: National Service Scheme (NSS) at the Faculty of Technology and MS Technical University (FTE), NSS Techo, has succeeded in reaching The India Book of Records to hold the largest virtual self-defense camp.
On March 7 this year that volunteers related to NSS Techo have organized the first online self-defense camp.
With participants registered for the camp, it was recognized as the biggest ever held on a virtual platform.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, the Indian government also appreciated it on his official Twitter handle.
“This camp was held with the aim of spreading awareness among young people and made them learn the basic techniques of self defense.
The camp has been recognized as the ‘biggest virtual self-defense camp’ by the Book of Indian Book of Records,” said Dr.
Arvind S Mohite, NSS Techo program officer, which organizes the camp.
“The aim is to make people aware of it.
The importance of self-defense and make them learn and practice various basic self-defense techniques at home during covid-19-induced locking.
This camp was carried out by the 4th belt winner and Shashikan Shashaan Shasha And his team, “he said.” Various training sessions on the basic punching, kicking, blocking and other self-defense techniques were filmed by NSS Techo volunteers.
