Jaipur: Seven workers from NSUI’s congresses were arrested on Friday for allegedly creating a commotion at the BJP office here to protest the controversial comment of Union Minister Singh Baghel against Chief Minister Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot, according to the police.
Previously, the unification of the Indian national students had planned to protest and burn Baghel’s effigions at the gate of the University of Rajasthan at Jln Marg.
However, the plan was changed and protested was transferred to the Rajapark area, where the BJP office was located, said the source in groups of students.
Overcoming a General Meeting on Wednesday in the Constituency of the Vallabhnagar Assembly Udaipur, where Bypoll is scheduled, Baghel is called Gehlot a liar and continues to question the descendants of those who do not hold on to their words.
The State Union Minister for law and justice also said that Gehlot was born on the day when a thousand liars had died.
NSUI workers entered the BJP office and created a commotion.
After President Jaipur BJP Raghav Sharma told the police about the incident, police personnel rushed to the place and arrested seven people, officials said.
They were taken to the Jawahar Nagar Police Station and placed under the arrest below Section 151 (arrest to prevent commissions of violations that can be respected) from the criminal procedure code, said Panna Lal Inspector.
Sharma accused that the NSUI worker group broke into the BJP office when the party meeting was ongoing.
They also lead BJP workers.
“If they want to protest, they should do it in a democratic manner and in the right place.
They don’t just enter without permission but also persecute our workers who are in the party’s office to attend the meeting,” he said.
Baghel’s statement pulled a sharp reaction from the Congress, which said that indecency did not have a place in democracy and civilized society.
The party also demanded apologies from Baghel for “Not dignified” comments.
