MySuru: The Public Instruction Department (DPI) shifted the new type of model for this century in Narayana Shastri Road in Mysuru, to the Maharani PU College campus on Thursday night.
The school property has been submitted to Ramakrishna Mutt, who proposed to build Viveka Smaraka, to commemorate the visit of the Hindu Monk Swami Vivekananda to the city.
“In accordance with the government’s command instructions and court, we shift the school to Maharani.

Class for students will continue on the new campus from Friday.
All facilities, including midday eating will continue for students.
The school will be submitted to Mutt, “said Mysuru Ddpi Ramachandra Raje Urs.Earlier, the police detained 15 activists, including the Socialist P Malleshes and others, to perform protests against school shifts.
“Around 4pm, I learned that the school material was being shifted.
I rushed to school and protested.
Then, other activists also arrived, but DPI officials shifted schools with police protection assistance,” said S Sudarshan, an activist.
At present 71 students study at school.
Since 2013, activists opposed the submission of this school to Mutt Ramakrishna.
