Rajkot: A 26-year-old nurse who works with a private hospital in Rajkot City was found dead in a mysterious state in his rented apartment on Tuesday.
Alpa Jankhant who died lived with two of his colleagues who also worked in the same hospital.
His colleagues told the police that after Alpa went to take a shower, he did not come out for a long time.
On knocking on the door, when they did not receive a response from inside, his colleague mentioned the guard, who then broke the door open.
They found Alpa lying unconscious on the bedroom floor and hurried to bring her to the hospital synergy where she worked.
However, the doctors expressed his death at the time of entering.
Police sources said that postmortem forensics had left the cause of delayed death but the sample of viscera had been collected to ensure the right reason for the hospital for the past six months.
Among them, he went to his house but returned after a few days and chopped tasks.
His colleagues told the police that Alpa did not show signs of depression and associate with Everubody with respect.
Alpa’s brother also works in the Industrial Unit in Rajkot.
The police did find empty injection from home, but there were no injection marks anywhere in the body, they said.
The hospital has rented a Varun apartment near Madhapar Crossroads for his staff, police said.
“Only after receiving the Viscera report, we can know the exact cause of death.
For now, this is a mystery,” said an official from the Gandhigram police station, who was investigating this case.
