New Delhi: Around 12.19 Lakh’s new members joined the Social Security Scheme Esicrun in October this year compared to 13.57 lakhs in the previous month, official data showed on Friday, providing a perspective on the formal sector work in the country.
The latest data is part of the report released by the Office of the National Statistics.
Dirty registration with the employee insurance company is 10.78 lakh in April, 8.91 lakh in May, 10.68 lakh in June, 13.40 lakh in July and 13.47 lakh in August this year , data shows.
June, July and the August figure showed an increase in registration after easing restrictions were induced by Covid by the state.
