Bhubaneswar: Head of Minister of Naveen Patnaik on Friday emphasized on releasing intermediaries from the Agri supply chain that would ensure that connecting farmers directly to the market and helped increase their income.
While virtually inaugurating Odisha Agri Conchave-2021, the main minister said the development of agriculture and the empowerment of farmers was the priority field of its government.
“We must respond to market dynamics.
We need to streamline their connectivity to the aggregator and processor to play a role as a manufacturer.
We need to delete intermediaries, which do not add value to the supply chain,” said Naveen.
Leading Personal Players in Agria Sector and Food Processing Sectors such as Adani-Wilmer Ltd, Agri, Parley, Amul, Coffee Board of India, Big Basket joined the conclave held to connect farmers directly with national and global markets.
The aim is also to provide traditional conditions, natives and nutritious to get excellence in the global market.
