Bhubaneswar / Balasore: Minister of Railway Union Ashwini Vaishnaw on Friday inaugurated and put the foundation stone from several projects in Cuttack and Balalasore District in the state.
He also marked the train between Balalasore and Bhubaneswar.
Vaishnaw first visited Cuttack and Laid Foundation Stone for the second entry and circulating area from the Cuttack station.
He also gave approval for widening Jalan Malgodown near the station.
The road has railroad land and the minister has given its nodding for its development.
The development of work for the second entry will have facilities such as parking for two, three or four wheels, pickups and drop points, parking for ambulances, VIP vehicles etc., including a wider path.
The Union Minister said the train is committed to the development of the Cuttack station and funds will not be a problem for this purpose.
He also directed officials to accelerate construction work for the initial settlement.
In addition, Vaishnaw checks the Cuttack station and takes stock of development work and facilities provided at the station.
Then the Union Minister reached the Ballasore Station and marked the passenger of the Ballasore-Bhubaneswar (08411).
He said this train would ensure better connectivity between Balalasore and state capital.
The extension of the railroad network in Balalasore and a side by side-side will allow passengers to travel to large stations like Bhubaneswar and Bhadrak, he added.
He also put the foundation stone for the work of opening passenger services between Balasore and Gopinathpur.
He then visited the Basta station to inaugurate development work.
Besides that, he put the foundation stone from the new station building in Jaleswar.
Placing an emphasis on passenger facilities, he said that the development of buildings of stations and other facilities in Basta and Jaleswar will each be very helpful for the local community.
Vaishnaw in his speech mentioned that Jaleswar was the Odisha gate.
Emphasizing timely settlement of all ongoing train projects, the Union Minister said that he would personally monitor station development work including his design in Jaleswar.
He also checked the Balalasore-Nilgiri train line by traveling by train inspection (train) and put the foundation stone to make a rail line suitable for running passenger trains.
He promised the people of Nilgiri to run the passenger train soon.
