Bhubaneswar: The first syndicate meeting of the newly established university, Bhawanipatna, has decided to name the campus as a Vihar Manikya.
The University Grant (UGC) commission has given a recognition of the University on August 18.
The agency passed several proposals during the first syndicate meeting on Monday, including the name of the campus.
The source said the nomenclature came from Maa Manikeswari’s name, Dewi Tuteary.
The area of this country is famous for gemstones, including Ruby, called Manikanya in Odia.
Previously, the Premier Utkal University campus was crowned Vani Vihar.
In the same way, the universities are mixed as Bhanja Vihar, University of Sambalpur as Jyoti Vihar University and Fakir Mohan, Ballasore, as Vyasa Vihar.
The syndicate of rigidity Varsity was also named one of the Hostel Girls after River Udanti flowing through the district.
Many state university hostels are named different rivers.
