Kendr In: ECO Retreat Festival Three and a half months will be held at Pentha Long 8-Km Beach which is perfect in Bhitarkanika National Park from November 15, 2021 to March 1, 2022 by the Department of Tourism.
Fifteen luxury tents will pitch for tourists with every tent that has water, power supply and parking facilities.
The cultural festival, food festival and trekking in the nearest mangrove forest will be available for visitors, said Niranjan Beyera, Sub-Collector (Kendrapada), at a meeting in Pentha on Monday.
Last year, the Ministry of Tourism held an Eco-Retreat Festival for three months from December 1 to February 28 in Nalitapatia Village near Bhitrakanika.
Immediately order online for tents will begin for the festival.
The camp will be adjacent to mangrove forests, said Himalaya Tripathy, district tourist officers.
This festival will generate income for locals.
Photo exhibition, film seminars in Bhitakanika and other wildlife will be arranged during the festival for 106 days, adding officers.
