BHubaneswar: The crime branch has revealed the mystery about the alleged murder of Chittaranjan Palei, Personal Assistant (PA) Deputy Chair of the State Planning Council of Sanjay Dasburma, by arresting two people on Friday.
The defendant was identified as Jagannath Sarang and Ashok Upadhyay.
The crime branch said the murder motive suddenly provocated following a fight for Palei’s visit to Upadhyay’s house on December 11th.
Sarangi, who is Palei’s friend, has accompanied him to Upadhyay’s house.
“Sarangi is a visitor who often goes upadhyay’s house in Chakrapada Village in Puri District.
But Upadhyay was angry at Palei with a sarang in his house.
A fight had occurred between Palei and Upadhyay.
This dispute might have caused murder,” the branch deputy branch.

Palei’s body was found floating on the river in Gadamrugerhira Village, about 8 km from Chakrapada Village on December 13.
The source of the crime branch said Sarang and Upadhyay conspiraced and killed Palei before throwing his body on the river.
The crime branch said Palei had gone to attend a party organized by his friend Jagannath Sarangi aka Keep in Matiapada Puri area on December 11.
About five people, including Palai Palai Piren and Dasburma (PSO) Sarbeswar Jena (PSO), were present at the party.
The same night Sarangi and Palei went to Upadhyay’s house.
“We got strong evidence against Sarang and Upadhyay.
In addition, we suspect several other involvement in the murder.
They are part of the conspiracy of the murder.
They will soon be arrested.
All five people, including Sarangi’s wife, Upadhyay and Upadhyay.
Polygraph tests are subject to a polygraph test, “Mishra said.
The crime branch will look for a replacement of 7 days of Sarang and Upadhyay.
Crime branch officers handle the question whether they found the role of Dasburma in murder.
Palei Subhadra’s wife previously accused Dasburma after masterminding the murder.
Dasburma has denied allegations.
BJP and Congress have demanded Dasburma’s resignation from the position of Deputy Chairperson of the State Planning Board.
