New Delhi: Ola Electric on Wednesday launched a fully prepared production facility in the southern state of Tamil Nadu.
Taking to Twitter, Ola Bhavish Agarwal CEO, said “Ground Zero!”.
Major Ride-Hailing is set to launch its electric scooter on August 15.

The factory regulated by more than 500 hectares of land is an integrated facility with manufacturing, battery and park suppliers, ensuring more than 90 percent of parts are localized and within close range.
Ola Electric scooters tend to offer up to 150 kilometers with a single charge, which is significantly higher than the main rival TV, IQUE, Bajaj Chacak and Ather 450X.
Ola previously announced that its electric scooter had received a reservation of 100,000 record breakdown in the first 24 hours, making it the most ordered scooter in the world.
Ola Electric opened a reservation for its electric scooter on the night of July 15.
