New Delhi: Amid the increasing number of Omicron cases in Delhi, Chairman of the Minister of Arvind Kejriwal will hold a meeting to assess the readiness and management related to the New Coronavirus variant on Thursday, according to officials.
Delhi has recorded a maximum number of 57 Omicron cases in the country, followed by Maharashtra (54), Telangana (24), Karnataka (19), Rajasthan (18), Kerala (14) and Gujarat (14).
India has so far recorded 213 cases of omicron variants from Coronavirus in 15 states and the United States and 90 infected people have recovered or migrated, according to UNI Ministry of Health data updated on Wednesday.
Kejriwal is likely to discuss the preparation of the possibility of the third wave of Covid-19 and the omicron variant of the virus with the minister of cabinet and officials.
This meeting also tends to see discussions about hospital beds, medicines and house isolation measures.
National capital recorded 125 cases of Covid-19 in a day, the highest since June 22, with a level of cleavage of 0.2 percent, while there was no fresh death because of viral diseases were recorded, according to the data distributed by the Delhi Health Department on Wednesday.
The cumulative number of Coronavirus cases in the city reached 14,42,515, while the dead were at 25,102.
Delhi has recorded 134 Covid-19 cases with a 0.2 percent participation level and eight deaths due to the disease on June 22.
