Hyderabad: The rapid increase in fresh covid cases in Telangana was driven by a very contagious Omicron variant, said the health authority on Thursday.
More than 70 percent of new cases reported throughout the country seem to be omicron tension, said the authorities, predicted a massive surge during the Sankranti celebration.
