Rajkot: At least one person was killed and seven others were injured during a clash between two communities in Kanmer Rapar Taluka Village on Friday morning.
Four of the seven injured called Rajkot Civil Hospital for treatment.
The main probe revealed that the clash was above land disputes between the two communities.
The deceased was identified as Danabhai Rathod, a resident of Kanmer Village.
The two communities have attacked each other with sharp-eyed weapons and also fired a gunfire from the village’s weapons.
Police sources said that among Baldev Rathod was injured and Ajitsinh Jadeja suffered a bullet injury.
Police Kutch has initiated the process of filing complaints from members of the two communities.
Meanwhile, additional police forces have been deployed in the village to avoid further violent escalation.
