Palanpur: One person was arrested with foreign liquor made in India (IMFL) worth Rs 30.47 Lakh during check-in in Ambaji City in Banskantha on Monday.
The defendant was identified as the Sultan of Gujjara was a native Haryana, police said.
With the new year approaching, the police in the border district have increased the vigil on smugglers of liquor at the Gujarat-Rajasthan border.
“The consignment of liquor was confiscated from a building in the city of Ambaji,” Sushil Agarwal Police Supervisory Assistant said.
