Ahmedabad: Satellite Police on Saturday enrolled a complaint against a driver who harassed and attacked a professional rival for teaching people from Ahmedabad to Rajkot.
The complainant is Govind Makwana, 20, a garden satellite resident.
Makwana stated that he took passengers to Rajkot every day in his four-wheeled vehicle.
He said that on Saturday he was at Crossroads Iskcon called on passengers.
Makwana said he was faced with another driver, Mahesh Ahir, who also approached the route.
According to the complaint, Ahir accused Makwana to take his client.
Ahir was misused and attacked Makwana.
When the Head Makwana began to bleed, another driver intervened.
Ahir left after warning Makwana against entering Rajkot.
Makwana was hospitalized from where he went to the satellite police station.
The police have submitted a complaint under the Indian Criminal Code 323 section (voluntarily causing illness), 324 (causing injuries to weapons or dangerous facilities), and 294b (say rotten words).
