Berlin: Startup Shipping Wholesale Online Czech Rohik said on Thursday it has collected $ 100 million from investors with a $ 1 billion assessment, becoming the latest player in the red hot sector to increase the urge to growth.
The round, led by Index Ventures, came only three months after the Rohik lifted 190 million euros ($ 226 million) from investors to expand to Germany from the market in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Austria.
“We are now considered as a European company that is capable of scale quickly,” said the founder of Tomas Cupr.
“Newly secured funding helps us to accelerate even faster than intended initially, especially in the field of new market entries, the automation of the fulfillment center and the rate of innovation as a whole, including hiring large talents.” Rohik, founded in 2014, reported revenues of more than 300 million euros last year and counted 750,000 customers.
Other online groceral shipping startups that have raised money recently include bitter and Germany’s flink.
