Guwahati: A MINITCULE 7% of nearly 500 Manipuri families living in the Manipuri Rajabari area, known as Manipuri Basti, who have migrated to the city in recent years, plans to go to Manipur to vote in the assembly in the case of the state .

The ancestors of the remaining families have migrated from Manipur and some parts of Assam such as Cachar and Hojai, more than a hundred years ago for Manipuri Basti and permanently settled here.
