Vadodara: Aayush Dasgupta is the only one of Vadodara who has entered a four-year Science Bachelor’s degree (research) at the Prestigious Indian Institute (IISC), Bangalore this year.
In March, Aayahush has secured all Indian (air) ranked 39 in Kishore VAIGYANIK Protection of Yojana (KVPY) – prestigious national level fellowship program in basic science – funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Indian Government.
“I am willing to conduct research on applied physics at IISC,” said Ayahush, which has emerged between the 50 top students nationally at KVPY SX (students registered in class XI).
Kolkata-born ayah, whose father Aruni Dasgupta is an electric engineer by the profession and mother RITI Dasgupta is a cost accountant, has done all of his schools from Vadodara.
An alumni of Navrachana School, the same, Aayahe has begun to focus on joining IISC, Bangalore since he was in 9th grade.
“The counseling is scheduled for Monday,” his father told Ti.
