Nagpur: The only Omicron patient, a 40-year-old man who has returned from Burkino Faso through Delhi, has been tested negatively on the 10th day of the RT-PCR report received on Tuesday night.
Confusion occurs about the patient’s debit until late at night after receiving the negative report.
Initially, it was believed that patients would need another negative RPCR report within 24 hours to be issued.
However, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) clarified that it depends on the doctor who cared for the state protocol and the second RPCR report in 24 hours is not needed.
Seims officials say patients will be discarded “on Wednesday morning and will be suggested 7 days of quarantine veranda according to the protocol”.
NMC will arrange an ambulance for him.
On December 6, the man was treated in a special neighborhood AIIMS Nagpur arranged for Omicron patients.
